At the Virginia State Class 3 Cross Country Championships on Saturday November 16th at Virginia Tech, the Boys Cross Country team overcame a predicted 59 point deficit to defeat strong teams from Maggie Walker and Lafayette by 10 points 73 to 83. This is the first Boys Cross Country State Championship in Broadway history and the 3rd BHS team to win a state championship after the Girls Basketball and Spring Track Championships in the past. Individually, Tristan Yoder was the State Champion followed by Jaiden Santos Nguyen in 7th place, Peyton Allen in 20th place, Gavin Diehl in 21st place, Grayson Jaquez in 45th place, Asher Ryan(47th) and Cameron Shifflett in 79th place. Congratulations to the boys cross Country team for being District, Regional and State Class 3 Champions.
