Around 8:15 am this morning, a threat was called into the Harrisonburg-Rockingham Emergency Communications Center regarding Elkton Middle School. The school was evacuated, law enforcement is currently on site, and all students are safe.
Students are being transported to East Rockingham High School where they will be dismissed to go home starting at 10:00 am. No students will be released until all students have been transported to ERHS and attendance has been taken.
We will be providing additional details once students have gotten to ERHS.
