We are excited to share that our esports program has received a $5,000 matching grant from the Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc., generously funded by the Joe and Debbie Showker Foundation.
This amazing opportunity will help us replace outdated equipment and continue growing our innovative program. The Showkers are encouraging RCPS patrons and East Rockingham stakeholders to join in—every dollar donated will be matched up to $5,000!
If you would like to contribute to this exciting matching grant opportunity you can either send your donation to Rockingham Educational Foundation, Inc at 100 Mt. Clinton Pike, Harrisonburg, VA 22827 in the form of a check made out to REFI with ERHS ESPORTS put in the memo line or you can reach out to REFI at 540-564-3218. ERHS students sent Veterans Day thank you notes with messages of appreciation to local veterans in our community. The cards were delivered to the Elkton VFW. Students also had the option to send a thank you card to a veteran they knew personally. In addition, a slide presentation was shown on Monday, November 11th, during Advisory to honor our ERHS staff members who are veterans and recognize our ERHS graduates who have served or are currently serving in the military. Thank you to our Veterans!
