Mrs. Charity Short, kindergarten teacher was voted 2025 FRES teacher of the year by her peers. Mrs. Short has been teaching for 16 years; 15 of those years have been at FRES. She contributes to the entire student body by organizing clubs and finding exciting activities to promote student attendance. Mrs. Short commented, “I love making relationships with the students and families. Reading stories aloud is my favorite part of the day.”
Mrs. Short will represent FRES as a candidate for Rockingham County Public Schools 2025 Teacher of the Year.
