I trust everyone had a great Spring Break. I am sure some traveled or vacationed, some were no doubt busy with Spring sports and activities, and some likely enjoyed some down time. Regardless of the particulars of the break, I am hopeful that students and staff are able to return refreshed a bit and ready for the final push of the 2024-2025 academic year. In many ways, the year has passed quickly to this point and, as Dr. Shifflett noted in his Spring Break message, there are just forty days remaining in the school year.
The final weeks will include an academic push, field trips, end-of-year activities and plenty of time to deepen meaningful relationships. There will be multiple opportunities for families to get involved and support MES over the coming weeks. I appreciate the continued involvement of families in school activities. Your children benefit directly when you are well-connected with the school.
Thanks for all you do for the MES school community!
Have a great week!
