Week #33- April 21, 2025
I trust that the extended weekend break was a good experience for all MES families. Whether your plans included travel, celebration of Easter, or just time relaxing at home, I am sure everyone is looking forward to returning to the routine tomorrow. I almost always look forward to the breaks and enjoy a change of pace that offers some relaxation and reduces responsibility, but I also look forward to a return to the regular school routine. As students return this, they will have just over thirty days left in the current academic year.
The final days of the school year will be full of excitement, energy and continued opportunities to learn. Take time to talk with your child(dren) about the school day and about what they are learning. I am consistently impressed by the information that children share about what they are learning in school (at least until they are 14).
Thanks for all you do to support learning and growth at MES! This is a great community of learning!

Attendance Tip: The excitement from students for the attendance incentives is notable and very interesting to observe. Our final 10-Day Attendance Challenge of the year is coming up in two weeks. Start conversations at home about these dates. If there are some struggles with motivation, add an incentive from home that might help. Thanks for helping us focus on positive attendance habits at MES!
