Here are the February menus!

Please join us for a Cub Connections-Parent Information Meeting on Thursday, February 1 at 7:00 p.m. At our February meeting, we will discuss the topics of school attendance, our parent volunteer program, PAW Patrol, and we will also talk a little about keeping schools safe, too. We will send the link to join the meeting on the day of the meeting. We hope you can join us online!

Save the date! February 12 is Parent-Teacher Conference Day from 12:00-7:00 p.m. All classroom teachers will be sending out sign up forms tomorrow, Monday! This is a great time to learn more about your child's progress during this school year!

Movie night is rescheduled to next week!

This was the perfect experiment before our little “snow break!” Mrs. Simmons’ first graders performed a “Blubber Glove” experiment on Friday. They learned about blubber, how it works, and why it is necessary for Arctic animals to have. This extra layer of fat helps them live, hunt and swim in the cold water temperatures of the Arctic!

CRES SCA Spirit Day January 22-26! Show your school spirit!

CRES Outreach Project for January!

Mrs. Wilt’s fifth graders held a virtual author visit with Ellen Potter. Mrs. Potter taught students how to gather ideas for writing, how to develop strong characters in their stories, and the importance of revisions. These students were so inspired they brought their writing journals to work on their stories at lunch!

Hikari represented Cub Run well last night in the county spelling bee! Hakari placed in the top 9! Way to go, Hakari! We are proud of you!

Here are the January Menus!

Elf sightings, snow making, book reading, fort building, movie watching… it’s been a magical ending to a fun, festive, busy time of year! Happy holidays, Cubs! See you all in 2024!

Some of our fifth grade challenge students traveled around the school with their pop up puppet shows. The creativity and attention to detail was amazing!

Save these dates for upcoming PTA events!

Run, run, as fast as you can! You can’t catch me, I’m the gingerbread man!
These kindergartners tried their hardest to catch the gingerbread man but sadly, he got tired running from them and went back to his book! But at least he shared some candy canes first!

We love it when Buddy the Elf comes to visit! He spread lots of smiles and joy at Cub Run!

In Technology this past week of rotation, all Kindergarten students worked on a Frosty The Snowman stem project with created their version of a Frosty!

Our cafeteria crew is full of holiday spirit!
