General information about transition from School Messenger to Thrillshare

In fall of 2023 RCPS migrated from a notification system called School Messenger to a new platform called Thrillshare. Thrillshare is the system that RCPS uses to send emails, texts, and phone calls about weather closings or delays, school absences, and more. People who receive alerts from Thrillshare don't access the system directly; rather, RCPS imports data from various sources listed above.

I missed a phone call from 540-782-0086. Whose phone number is that?

When RCPS sends alerts in the form of a phone call (from Thrillshare) the number you will see on your caller ID is 540-782-0086. We recommend you add this number to your contacts so it's less likely to be tagged as spam by your phone's operating system.

How can I stop receiving text messages?

Text the word STOP to 98900.

I previously opted out of receiving texts, but I want to opt back in. How can I opt back in to start receiving text messages again?

Text the word START to 98900.

How can I change my contact information, or have it removed from the system?
