This week, students in the Wilbur S. Pence Middle School FCCLA chapter purchased items for the local area Angel Tree. Each year, FCCLA members have contributed to local area Angel Trees. This year, students partnered with the Town of Dayton through Heritage Real Estate, Thomas House Restaurant, and Pit Stop Automotive to purchase items for children ages 4-17 this holiday season. Items included bouncy balls, batman figures, card games, board games and more. Students also found a variety of Angel Tree wishes that were not toy related, toiletries and undergarments were requested by many children in our community. FCCLA is a service and leadership organization, and students had a great time participating in this event, helping 17 children and families in total.
