Character Counts in RCPS! 🌟 Congratulations to Evelyn Ortiz-Lopez and Andrew Elgohar for being selected as the 2024 Brittany Lam- Kelly Coggsdale Character Counts recipients from Cub Run Elementary School. Evelyn exemplifies responsibility, kindness, and hard work. She fosters positive relationships, demonstrates leadership skills, and earns respect from both staff and students. Andrew is a respectful and caring student who excels both academically and socially. He is a role model for peers, demonstrating trustworthiness, responsibility, and genuine care for others.

National School Nurse Day is Wednesday, May 8! We want to thank Mrs. Barnhart and Mrs. Castillo for all they do every day!



This coming week is National Teacher Appreciation Week! This is a week we take just a moment to show appreciation and to say, "Thank you!" to all the teachers and staff who make a difference in the lives of children! It was a beautiful day to spend “back home on the farm!” These second graders enjoyed the sunshine and fun activities! ☀️🛝🎠



“B is for BUBBLES” Kindergarten and 1st grade classes are counting down to the end of the school year with the alphabet! Today was “B” day for bubbles for these kindergartners! 🫧🫧🫧

Don’t throw away throse broken crayons! In an effort to teach students about recycling in a meaningful way, students will be recycling old crayons and turning them into new crayons with Mrs. Roderick. If you have old, broken crayons at home, she will gladly take them to use in the library for her project! 🖍️🖍️🖍️


4th grade enjoyed their field trip to Jamestown yesterday! Many thanks to all who contributed to the fourth grade fundraisers!
